When you work from home, having a space that is calm and organized can make such a huge difference in your productivity. In this case, this home office became a catch all and then was too overwhelming and impossible to work in.

Once it was emptied out, I went through the boxes of items (most of which didn’t belong in the office) and moved things to their actual location in the home such as the bathroom, bedroom and even the downstairs storage unit and sent things to be donated.
Office supplies that did belong were able to be sorted and organized in the drawers of the desk which now can be reached and opened. Also, because we took out anything that wasn’t supposed to in an office, we had room to bring in the books from other areas and empty a few more boxes that were taking up space elsewhere.

Now, this office space can be used as intended and allows for work at home to still be somewhat separate from the rest of the house.
